👩‍💻In response to current health recommendations restricting contact between people, here at AWARE Women's Health we have been busily upping our IT skills to enable us to immediately offer video or phone consultations for all patients. This is a great way for you to still deal with your health concerns even whilst in isolation!

😍GREAT IDEA! HERE'S HOW IT WORKS...
You will need internet access to download the app on to your smartphone, tablet or other device. We'll help you with that. You will then be sent a specific access code to use to start the consultation at your appointment time and away we go! Don't worry if you do not have access to the required gadgets, we can simply phone you instead.
Costs are the same as for a regular consultation but may change as Medicare rebates become available.

IF YOU NEED TO COME FOR AN EXAMINATION OR PROCEDURE

Be reassured that at the AWARE practice we have instituted all health recommendations for reducing the risk of virus transmission and have arranged for widely spaced appointment times for patient examinations and office procedures.

IF YOU NEED A PROCEDURE IN HOSPITAL

We are continuing to be able to schedule urgent procedures, such as those to diagnose or treat malignancy pr acute pain. Non-urgent surgical procedures will need to be deferred to a later time.

🙂WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU
You may have a Women's Health consultation with any of our doctors or allied health practitioners without the risk of running in to Covid-19, be seen for an examination, ultrasound or procedure when necessary in the safest possible way, and continue to have any serious problems investigated and treated urgently.

We are continuing to provide IUCD insertions and colposcopy in the office and have separate, dedicated Clinic times for these procedures.

We are very aware that some of our lovely patients may be affected financially by the social and economic impact of Covid19. Please speak to our reception staff if you are affected and we will assist you with costs if we are able.
