Making an Appointment

Please phone 08 8361 7866 to make an appointment. Our online booking has been suspended on account of extended waiting times. We can assess requests for urgent appointments over the phone or if your GP provides an urgent referral.

WHAT TO BRING TO YOUR APPOINTMENT
If you are seeing one of our Specialist Gynecologists, please ensure that you have a current referral. For convenience, a request for consultation can be downloaded here and completed by your General Practitioner. You do not need a referral if you are seeing one of our Women’s Health General Practitioners or Allied Health Practitioners.

New clients are asked to arrive a few minutes prior to the scheduled appointment time to complete any necessary paperwork, thank you.

CONFIRMING AN APPOINTMENT
An appointment reminder will be sent to your mobile phone via SMS two working days prior to your appointment.

At AWARE we recognize that your time is valuable and we endeavor to run on time. If we are running more than 30 minutes late we will try to phone and let you know in advance of your arrival. We can reschedule your appointment if that is more convenient. If you are unable to make your appointment or are running late, a telephone call to let us know will allow us to minimize inconvenience to other clients.

CANCELLATION POLICY
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we request that you phone us at least 24 hours in advance so that other patients may use this time. 

We reserve the right to charge you 100% of the Practitioners normal fee for non-attendance in the absence of prior notification.

Appointments with our Physiotherapist are billed as follows. Your health fund may reimburse you for some or all of this.

First visit $225.00 (1/2 hour) or $275.00 (> 1/2 hour)

Review visit $125.00 (1/2 hour) or $ 175.00 (> 1/2 hour)

Appointments with our Psychologist are billed as follows.

  • All appointments $220.00 (1 hour)

Appointments with our Gynaecologists or Pain Specialist are billed according to the type of consultation and/or procedure you are having. You will be advised of costs when you make an appointment.

TELEHEALTH APPOINTMENTS

All of our health practitioners are available for telehealth consultations by video or phone. When you are making your appointment please mention that it is for telehealth. On the day of your appointment you will be sent a link to the telehealth platform.

Telehealth consultation fees are the same as in person consultations.

PAYMENT

Payment is required to be made at the time of consultation. AWARE Women’s Health accepts most credit cards, EFTPOS payments and cheques.

CLAIMING YOUR MEDICARE REBATE
Medicare Easyclaim is available for on the spot claiming of your Medicare rebate. To use Easyclaim you will need to have your Medicare card and a credit card.
