TORY TOOGOOD
Women’s Health Physiotherapist

Tory has been working in women’s health physiotherapy for over 10 years.  She is the chair of the Continence and Women’s Health Physiotherapy Australia SA Branch and is involved in National advocacy for links between women’s health physiotherapy and the fitness industry. She enjoys working with women who are struggling with continence that inhibits their ability to live as full a life as they want, especially helping women return to recreational or competitive exercise after having children.  This is achieved with a thorough history taking and discussion of goal setting, an examination to assess muscle integrity and function and then she works with you to devise the most suitable treatment and exercise program for you. Those goals may be simply the ability to enjoy a walk with friends, to chase children in the playground, to play a round of golf, or to compete in Ironman triathlons.

Tory has worked in private practice since 2001, and has a strong background in sport, representing Australia in Rowing for 6 years and more recently competing in surf boat rowing and marathon running.  She has run a marathon on 7 of the 7 continents, completing this amazing feat with a marathon run on Easter Island in 2019.
